Kingsmead

Kingsmead was an open field in 1923. Most of the houses are thought to have been built either just before or just after the second World War.

Westmorland House, built in 1937, was previously known as Callater Cottage (to about 1984).
Clovers was built in the late 1930s.
Ash Trees was built in mid 1930s.
Meadow Cottage was built by 1946.
The Lantern was built in the late 1930s.
Hill Brow was built in early 1950s or possibly a little earlier.
Allways was built by 1948.
Beth Shan, previously known as Normanby (to about 1980), was built by 1948.
The Latchetts was built by 1946.
