Pullens Road

Pullens Road did not exist in 1923. When built in about 1935, it included much of what is now Upper Washwell. Many houses were renumbered when Upper Washwell was created as a separate road in about 1951.

Before about 1950, Pullens Road house numbers ran from 1-24.
In the early 1950s, those which had been numbered 9-20 were transferred into Upper Washwell. Those which had been numbered 21-24 were renumbered 11-14, and two new houses 9 and 10 were built. Number 10 was a police station.
