Vicarage Street

Vicarage Street is one of the old streets of Painswick. It has many old houses with modest 17th and 18th facades.

North side:
1a The Little Property, known as Chapel House in 1912, was built 200 years ago.
Hill Cottage and 2 was built c1830.
Flax Cottage, formerly Eastleigh, was built c1860.

Tabithas, formerly known as Archway Cottage and before that as Southfield Cottages, has a facade dating to c1700. Southfield House, called SouthView in the 1910 Valuation Survey, and The Stone Cottage are of a similar age.
Yew Tree House was built 1670.
Little Mundays was built about 300 years ago.
Dover Cottage and Dover House were built c1720.
Friends Meeting House was built 1705-6.

Verlands was built c1828 and enlarged as a vicarage in 1872.
