Underneath
lie the remains of Thomas Stephens
of this Town, Clothier,
who departed this life March 5th 1829
Aged 55 years.
The Father broke my stony heart,
The Son took all my sins away;
The Spirit showd me Heavenly scenes
Before I dropt my mortal clay.
Also of Hester, Relict of the above
Thos Stephens, and wife of Saml Grimes,
who died June 17th 1844 Aged 53 years.
